Welcome to Churche’s Mansion

Churche’s Mansion, Nantwich, is an award-winning modern British restaurant nestled in the heart of the idyllic Cheshire countryside. Dating back to 1577, the menu complements the Tudor landmark’s rich heritage, whilst serving contemporary dishes using the best locally sourced produce the British Isles has to offer.

Whether you’re enjoying oysters and champagne in the sun-drenched garden or a hearty Sunday roast by the crackling log fire come winter, expect a warm welcome in plush yet relaxed surroundings.

From premium fish and meats to fresh fruit and vegetables, we use the finest ingredients of local provenance wherever possible. Whether it’s an alfresco lunch in the garden or a luxury Cheshire afternoon tea by the fire, our indoor and outdoor dining areas offer an atmosphere of rural elegance, whatever the season.

Our Story

Dating back four centuries, and surviving The Great Fire of Nantwich in 1583, Churche’s Mansion is one of the oldest historic buildings in Cheshire. Purchased by owners Sophia and Kyriakos Haelis in 2018, the iconic Tudor building was handsomely restored over three years. With a new lease of life, the Mansion has opened its grand doors once again as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Cheshire.

Our Story

The Haelis family

Following working in the food industry for over 10 years, we were after a new adventure. Travelling to Nantwich to visit the Mansion, it was love at first sight and we knew this was the project we had been waiting for.
