We’re so pleased to have been shortlisted for not one, but two awards in this year’s Nantwich Food Awards.

Churche’s Mansion is up for winning both the ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Restaurant’ awards as part of the Nantwich Food Festival!

The food festival, held from 30th August – 1st September, sees Nantwhich transformed into a foodie paradise with a wide variety of local and international food and drink producers exhibiting. Voting for the awards closes on 2nd September and the winners will be announced at the awards evening on 21st September.

Following Churche’s Mansion restaurant and bar opening in Nantwich in June, we’ve been overwhelmed with the positive feedback and warm welcome we’ve received from the local community.

To have been shortlisted for both ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Restaurant’ is a real honour, but now, we really need your help to win!

To vote for Churche’s Mansion in either category, just visit the food festival’s website. You’ll be able to choose from a dropdown of finalists for each award. Underneath ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Restaurant’ just click on Churche’s Mansion, fill in your details below and press ‘submit’.

A big warm welcome to Churche’s Mansion

What an amazing first seven weeks at the Mansion we’ve had so far! We’re overwhelmed with the support and amazing welcome we have received from our guests and everyone in the Nantwich community.

From the get go, our aim was to open up the Mansion again and encourage people to walk through the doors of this beautiful building to enjoy the historic setting.

The feedback and comments have been wonderful and we are so privileged to have the Mansion as a workplace.

Each day is exciting and we all feel Churche’s Mansion is the perfect place to entertain our guests. Being at the infancy of the project we still have a lot of work to do and we are currently working hard preparing our wonderful garden, which should be ready by the end of summer.

We are also busy preparing the upstairs space which will be able to cater for over 60 guests at a time, perfect for private hire events and special occasions.

From all the team at Churche’s Mansion, we want to say a big thank you for your continued support.

Discover a gastronomic experience at Churche’s

foodie experience

Welcome to the Churche’s kitchen, where only the best produce makes it onto the plate in here in the Mansion.

We source British produce and ingredients from across the UK with our lobsters from Scotland, scallops from Cornwall and our oysters and mussels from North Wales.

Our Head Chef Ian’s personal favourite menu item, is the Churche’s Cocktail. A visually dynamic dish, it showcases the best of what Churche’s Mansion has to offer with a variety of flavours and textures.

Ian enjoys the creative process of bringing to life the desserts that he’s initially planned out on paper, like with our apple and crème brulee dish. We believe that desserts should be fun and we love getting creative with our dish presentation.

At Churche’s, we want to provide not only good food, but a gastronomic foodie experience our guests will love and remember for years to come.

Kyri and Sophia were looking for a restaurant that could serve quality food with excellent service, without being geared to a limited audience. They want everyone to feel welcome at the Mansion and this is my favourite kind of workplace. All the staff become a family working together to create a great atmosphere for everyone who visits.

The ethos

This was a challenge I was looking forward to facing. Being able to promote and use what our fantastic country has to offer is a pleasure. From local spirits such as Forest with their gins and whiskey, Tatton brewery with their local craft ale and Lyme Bay producing fantastic quality wines. I love selling quality produce that I know our guests will enjoy.

The building

I’m sure this speaks for itself but as a local to the area, I love that the building is finally being used again. To work in a building with so much history is fantastic. To have watched the refurbishment and witnessed the amazing job Kyri and Sophia have done with keeping the older elements of the building whilst adding modern touches, has been great. I can’t wait to see how they finish the upstairs dining area ready for private events and special occasions.

Local involvement

The artists dropping their work off to showcase around Churche’s Mansion is lovely, and the support from the locals wanting the business to succeed has been overwhelming. Myself and the team at Churche’s Mansion can’t wait to continue boasting about what Nantwich truly has to offer.
